Anyone find any screen protectors for the X-E2? Or at least compatible sizes? I currently have a GGS screen protector on my X-E1, and I am looking for something of similar quality.

I heard from somewhere that the LCD Glass in the XE-2 it tougher and more scratch resistant than on the X-E1. We may not need to protect it. Does anyone else out there know about this?

Hmmm I haven't heard that about the LCD before. Nothing in the manual says anything about the LCD material. Anyone?

I just saw this in the X-E2 brochure...

Adoption of special reinforced glass not only protects the screen from scratches, but also reduces reflections for improved viewing comfort.

And PhotographyReview says:  "And the protective cover on the LCD was upgraded to more scratch-resistant tempered glass."

So, it is more scratch resistant .... again up to the individual whether or not to use some type of extra protectant

I had heard it was like Corning Gorilla Glass.  Not quite sapphire, but pretty resistant.  I have used Giottos Schott glass protectors prior to this on my M9 (not the M9P which had reinforced glass) and the X-Pro1.  But I think I'll be traveling light with the X-E2.

I just cut extra protectors from an iPad screen protector. Works like a champ and I get quite a few out of one piece.

Check out the Fuji Guy's video part 3 of 3.  It's on Arjay's Xe-2s  Resource Links.

The giottos 5Diii screen protector seems to be about the right size looking at the specs (I just typed them all into a spreadsheet)...

I got an Expert Shield for my X-E1. Seems to work okay. Fairly easy to apply if you don't fat finger it (like I did). Great customer service.

Apologies on the delay, they should be in next week, touch wood.

Thanks Cug! How does your Expert Shield look now? If your fat finger caused any problems we haven't already seen to, do get in touch.
