this is a recent occurence, say from two weeks ago or so. am i not seeing a tickbox for staying signed in?

When you see the login boxes at the top of the screen to the right of this is 'Advanced login', click this and you will now see the tickbox 'Remember me' underneath the login boxes. Make sure that your browser is allowing cookies. Hopefully this should keep you logged in.

Try logging in to fujix-forum.com instead of x100forum.com. The latter will still work, but the default is now the former...you can blame Fuji for bringing out other x models.

Tried that. Doesn't work. It seems pretty lame to require a log in every time you open the web page.Try logging in to fujix-forum.com instead of x100forum.com. The latter will still work, but the default is now the former...you can blame Fuji for bringing out other x models.
In fact it severely limits my use of this forum. I much prefer Dpreview which has me prelogged in each time I go to it.

It must be something with your browser. I use Chrome on Mac OS and it remembers my login.

I've recently ran into this issue myself, just within the past week. It is rather annoying and I'm unable to find the "keep me logged in button" now. It was working fine a week ago, now it isn't. 
Edit:
I found the advanced login, but it's hidden. None of the text to the right of the sign-in on the top left corner is showing unless you move your mouse over it and even then it's bareley visible. I don't remember it being this way, but now that I know where to look, it doesn't matter much, but if that text was a different color than the background, it would make it easier to find.

I'm asked to log in but as soon as I open up a forum topic I find that I am logged in already, it just keeps it a secret to start with, once you've done the advanced log in thang and saved the password it should work fine.
