Either a very bad XF 23 1.4 or a very good X100F

When I took shots of people at a wedding it was early on before the alcohol took over, so everyone was sober and attentive and still, sitting at their tables, I used AF and the results weren't good, ISO 1250, f5.6, 1/60.
The 35 f1.4 would have been perfect but the FOV not so good, seriously thinking of selling it for a 16 or 18mm

Never played with the 18 except on my kit lens. Can definately recommend the 16, constantly on my camera these days. I love the fact you can also get in real close with it and get that extra bit of width. That and the 56 for me in terms of overall sharpness are in a different league to my 23.

I did a series of tests and found that the lens is fine, sharp results and no problems on MF or AF.
I put my previous experience down to low light and incorrect MF.
    I need glasses!
