Well, it only got uploaded today so we couldn't talk about it before today.

What kind of bugs me is that the firmware seems to be locked (ready for release) so why not just release it NOW!

    Hahaa....

On 3:31 the Fuji guys something like: "The AF is where it should have been already".... I'm a troll according to many forum members, yes, I know. But this just proves Fuji didn't do their homework well and I was damn right when bitching this piece of HW.

    Anyway, I forgive you :) Let's hope fw 2.00 is good !

Awesome. Can't wait. Now all I want is 5 stops for HDR. And a 1/1 macro lens. BUT, I'm happy anyway. Love this camera.

A Fuji extension tube set with AF contacts is what we need as that would allow other lenses other than the 60mm to be used and is a lower puchase cost.

HDR feature would be very good as well.

Since we are wishing, How about a full frame sensor! Now that I would buy in a heartbeat. Of course that would mean a new body but who cares. Isn't this wishing wednesday?

No need for this. According to Fuji pre-launch marketing material you already have the same, FX sensor performance. :D

Mikeci you beat me to it.
I was actually thinking looking at the video and was wondering..............

What about the Fuji GW690 http://camerapedia.wikia.com/wiki/Fujica_GW690 or the Fuji 67ii with a X-Trans sensor.

    Mouthwatering quality.

In the video when they talk about the MF implementation changes the guy says they have implemented x10 zoom on the command dial and then if you flick it left/right then it changes zoom to x3.

Very nice. Sometimes I do find the x10 zoom too much.

And if we stay with that thinking, I should buy a horse and wagon and start selling "snake oil for all your ills"
Wishing something doesn't make it so.
Look, the Fujifilm's sensor in the x-pro1 is really great but it aint no full frame, no way, no how, no matter what they say.

I would say that in regards to noise and iso performance that it is.
And shadow DR is better than on my mate's Canon EOS 5D Mark III.

The only noticeable difference is in fact DoF. ISO/noise performance, resolution and DR is pretty much on par with 5D2 and 5D3 files.
Please don't use LR/ACR to compare the files though.

Maybe is comparable to your mate 5D3, but not with my shots taken with Nikon D700

    C'mon....

+1 if you think the D700 is superior you should see what an image the D4 can produce. I have all 3 cameras and there is no comparison.
