at the request of an enthusiast, I have added a removable wrist strap pin, slot and relief to the base fior the XE and X-pro grips.

this will allow you to fit a wrist strap directly to the grip base leaving the tripod mounting and battery access clear.

the pin is removable via a setscrew for threading on the strap (allen key provided) similar detail on the JLM OMD grips

all units shipping from today will include this.

pricing is now Combo $145, Basic $125

Would it be difficult to add a screw mount at the side of the grip ? so we could add fingerloop on the side like the Leica M

easy enough to add the threads; i would need to know exactly where to put them...
where do you get the loop?

the original one does look good, but no battery access . if they would make one like the original design , but in solid metal with finger loop, that will be perfect . Not a big fan of L plate which sticks out , option for regular plate only would be nice

i should point out, that while the posted images are of the combo grip/L-plate versions, I also offer the basic grip, identical to the combo but without the L-plate and with the base trimmed to the length of the camera.

early on, when developing these grips for the OMD, i made an L-plate only version (no grip) had no interest.

the main design parameters were to leave the battery/card accessible, something the stock grips don't allow, and to provide the arca style grooves, so useful if you work with a tripod, as is the L-plate.

is suppose another version could be made, grip only, no arca grooves, no L-plate, for those who only hand-hold. any interest in that?

I am interested in one with grip only , thinner base plate (no arca groove) , no L plate, threaded for finger loop . How much would that cost?
