If you do a search in the Apple AppStore for FUJIFILM Camera Remote then you can download and install the new app for control of the XT1.

I wish I had my XT1 to test it on but I can wait.

You might have a little trouble, currently the app will only control a Finepix S-1 or a F 1000 EXR.

They will have to update to put functionality in for the Xt-1 and hopefully the XE-2. At which time you will need to update your app.

    +1
I looked yesterday and the only app I could find was the S-1, F1000 EXR one. It's not the easiest thing in the world to see what cameras the app is for you have to dig a bit.

I contacted Fujifilm USA and the told me there was a small delay in releasing the new versions. Apparently they are fine tuning the app for iOS and Android. However, if you install the current version, it will be updated automatically.

Yes once I havent got any wireless enabled Fuji cameras its use is non-existent on my iPad but at least when new versions are released I will get an automatic update and it will be one less thing to do on XT1 arrival day!

I hope they will have landscape mode. Otherwise is useless. The three inch camera lcd is more likely quiet larger in width than most phones. But in landscape mode using a Sony Z1 or a Samsung Note 3 would be nice and if it would run in Lumia 1520 would be marvellous because you could have the app in windows 8 tablet with full fledged photoshop or lightroom.

This time it was easy -- it was on the product description.

I just checked, and there doesn't seem to be anything for remote control on Google Play for Android yet, all I can find is a couple of wireless image transfer applications.

The Android version is not out for another week or two.

I can understand the need for landscape mode on an iPhone but am happy with only portrait on the iPad.

Hmmm, very strange my iPad updated last night but since I dont have an XT1 yet I cant test if the app has been updated to work with it or not.
The website says Coming Soon so I have to assume that it is a fix to support one of the other cameras previously supported.
