For those of you who wish to be able to quickly batch convert a bunch of RAF files into 16-bit TIFs, now that Apple supports the X100S...

This was made by setting up a super simple workflow in Apple Automator (choose RAF files, filter out files with type .RAF, duplicate, convert, rename). And of course, a disclaimer... don't blame me if you use this in some way that deletes your files or messes anything up. Or makes your computer explode. :)

It´s actually a useful tool, even for people like me, drowning in Aperture, Lightroom, PSE, CS6 and NIK. Especially the last one, when all you want to do is a quick check with a Silver Efex conversion, for instance. Simple conversion with that automator tool results in quite pleasing images to start with, from the few I have done... :)
    Thank you!

Am new to all this RAF malarkey. What's the reason you might want to convert a RAF file to a Tiff?

    For Win users...

Faststone image viewer (use the 'download' under 'file', or the Camera on the far left Menu bar)...
It allows batch renaming also.....as it converts.

I use it for X-E2 RAW files... no funky stuff is done during the process.

Link FastStone Image Viewer is FREE

Being using Faststone for years -a GREAT program, lots of handy quick features. eg fast browsing by right clicking on a folder and viewing with Faststone, or check the cropping features in the full screen preview mode. (you can add your own aspect ratios in dimensions or simple ratios ...)
