This is an 8 photo JPEG stitch of graffiti in China Town located in Seattle, WA. The stitching was done in Light Room and I think it did a good job
Looks good! I've stitched a few panos in Photoshop, but never tried Lightroom. I tried one in-camera pano with my XE2 which looked OK when viewed small, but when zoomed in, it showed some serious defects. Probably my inexperience - but if success depends on perfect panning technique, I'll probably be better off trying to stitch the shots at home on the computer. Are you seeing any irregularities under close examination?
Lightroom and Photoshop use the same engine so you will essentially get identical results as far as the stitching is concerned. Adobe added stitching and HDR direct to LR a couple of releases ago because many people were getting annoyed about having to go to PS to do relatively simple tasks. In camera stitching with X-Trans Fujis is ordinary at best IMO. Landscapes and the like work okay but anything with angled straight lines usually ends up looking like a staircase. The best in camera Fuji panos I have managed are with my X10 with its 4x3 Super CCD Bayer sensor.
