I took these shots while walking nearby an old church in Beirut, I never really took serious macro shots so this time it's my 1st time.
Taken with 23mmf2 and X-T10, edited with Capture 1

I would call them close ups but definitely not call them macro shots.

Not macro but a good effort at closeups. keep working at it.

I like the composition in #3 best. It tells a story, shows good textures, colours and has a nice dof. The leading lines and the straight verticals add to the image.

As to what is a macro and what is not. Most macros that are shot with a dedicated 1:1 macro lens are technically not macros as their magnification is typically slightly below 1, say 0.8-0.9. The Fuji FX60/2.8 can only get to 0.5 magnification - not a true macro lens. Your shots have magnification of about 0.1, well below 1. Hence the comments above.

Personally I would not care about the labels much.

See? I I wasn't even sure about ''macro'' definition to show you how much I am a nooby in this field :)
I will ask a moderator to slide this thread to a better section

Thanks for the admin, now it's in the bokeh section which is more appropriate, no?
