Saw this scene from the road and pulled over (well, ok backed up in the breakdown lane shhhh). It’s a fairly heavy crop but I’m glad I took the shot with the 18-55 because by the time I switched out to the zoom the horses had all moved together to form a big blob. This is the jpeg with editing in Snapseed. I may try to process the raw file to see if it survives the cropping any better.

Great shot and well seen, I like the misty looking fall color in the background. I really need to make it to the east coast for fall colors one of these years.

Great colors and subject, I love unplanned shots. It would be great to see the comparison with the RAW.

Squarepeg, one slight nitpick is that the horses have no detail, they are too black!

Nothing I've seen anywhere else compares. I probably said "wow" out loud to myself about 20 times that day. It was incredible. I haven't processed any of the photos yet but here is an iphone snap that I grabbed that really shows the colors.

Yes - hopefully I can get a bit more detail from the raw file.

Here's the raw edit. Was able to get more detail out of the horses but still too heavy of a crop to do anything with other than Instagram!

We’re about to peak where I am in NH, probable in the couple of days. Love fall in New England.

Looks really nice! Snapseed is my go-to editing app. About 90% of my photos end up being JPG transfers to my phone, and then little touch-ups with Snapseed, Lucid, or my new favorite, RNI Films (it’s a Mastin/VSCO type app.)

Also, greetings from Boston! We haven’t made it up north yet this year. :-/
