    Is there a secret spot to picture the Yarra? I usually go either to the area around Federation Square or the opposite end (I think opposite the Casino with the helipad).

    Not sure about a secret spot, it all depends on what you want to photograph. There are plenty and varied spots on both sides of the river, as well as from many of the bridges.

    This was taken on another visit from the opposite end of the CBD from where I took the images above

    Great set of pictures of 'Melb at night'.
    Water very still but it is summer in a 4 seasons in one day city.
    Love it.

    Yes, although we can get 4 seasons in one day, winter is not much different to summer in Melbourne when you get a nice day. The last image I posted above your post was taken in the middle of winter, as was this one.
