A re-enactment of a vehicle repair shop from WW2 around the time of D-Day, not sure about the plastic bottles though!

Is that a mini speaker behind the wireless?
Bet that little bugger doesn't broadcast the light or home programmes

Well, they would post a picture from their mobiles/tablets on Twitbook or snapcahat or whatever is in vogue at present and they would be innundated with opinions from anyone and everyone telling them not to let their little princes and princesses within half a mile of that bench. They could die just looking at it!

Want to stress I'm saying this as the father of three millennials; all PhD level educated in science subjects!

I should point out that the museum is heavily biased with American items, as Weymouth & Portland were major jumping off points for Omaha beach!

    tt, it certainly won’t now!

Stephen, they were Americans so it would have been coffee not tea. I’m afraid out American cousins have never cracked the art of brewing tea! :D

Another scene from the D-Day museum, which by the way is very small!

Someone who has more money than me from his after-dinner speaking and his retirement plan.

IBIS isn't appropriate for freezing subject motion; but it's certainly worked here. Those people can't be seen to move at all.

Pale complexions though, perhaps Pro Neg standard next time.

Reg, that’s because they are mannequins! Which are not known for rapid movement. :D

My sense of humour sometimes gets the better of me, apologies.

I did know they were dummies :)

Did they have anything about all the troops that died in a D-Day rehearsal?
I remember many years ago being down in Devon and there was a Sherman tank as a memorial to those who perished

Nice shots, Mike. Brings to the front many memories and feelings for me especially with Father's Day this weekend.
During the war my father ran U.S. Army motor pools through England and France. His workshop at home and work ( ran an automotive machine shop in civilian life ) looked just like that too, every one of the tools on the board, that vise, and even the piston on the workbench made me smile.

I did read about that event somewhere, can't remember where though!

PS. There was a video presentation that reported the deaths.
