Hello All: I have been a photographer on and off for many years. I stopped using medium format film cameras many years ago (mainly Mamiya twin lens), and have not been too active, but recently felt the desire to pick-up a good camera again. For now, and for much of my style I decided to get a Fuji digital camera. I was considering full frame (Sony a7 III or Pentax K-1 II), but the cost was questionable compared to the frequency of actually needing a full frame. I do prefer a bit more depth of field control, but I can get some on the Fuji (just bought it and tested out before buying and after, and think I can lice with it). After full frame, Fuji ASP-C was my next choice because I feel it is good quality and has some orientation to photographers with creative ambitions. I could have gotten the Fuji XH or the X-T2, but picked the X-T2, because what I was after was a more compact camera, and the T2 felt better in my hands than the bigger H. I am not a big video person, but like to shoot some, and would have welcomed some of the video upgrades in the H, but since stills were my main concern, I still think I made the right choice. I do like optical viewfinders, but would be more than happy with a Leica style. I look forward to discussing Fuji and see some of what you all are doing with your camera.
