Thanks, Chayelle. I agree, those are rather impressive shots technically, considering I did nothing at all to them except resizing, i.e. the camera and lens did an amazing job.
Thanks. The last one grew on me after looking at it on the desktop monitor. I took the shot, because the trees cast shadows on the sky above them, which is not the usual order of things. Turns out this is almost invisible on the photo. But the camera captured reflections of the sun off the polished pebbles in the tarmac, which I didn't see at the time.

I learned a lot this week thanks to your challenge. This is the first time I take shots just for the internet, and I realise now that this is an entirely different animal than shooting for prints.

    Cheers!

Once again, I am up late looking round the office for a subject... This time, my eye alights on the approximately 45 year old Airfix model of the HMS Victory I built with my Father (er - he built with me watching).

One version in mono, and one involving pretty serious abuse of the sliders in Darktable:

    Second photo from today.
We had a village wide garage sale today. These pups were in their garage with the grate keeping them at bay. They seemed very calm for being young dogs. The one on the left looks either bored or worried.

Orioles were very rare this year. Usually there are so many the trees are nearly
    dripping with them...

Then the gnats were extremely thick and irritating...

In all my wandering around looking for birds through the thick leaves,
I saw this tree with interesting bark...
I could not decide which picture I liked the best, but I wanted to share
    these with y'all... :)

Thanks, I'm going to use this for a excuse to post a few more images than I have on the other days. :)

Day 6. My Birthday. Sorry for the extra pictures, this was my day and I wanted to share.

This morning I went to the yard and decided to get a couple shots, because I wanted to make sure I grabbed some in case it got busy later.

Since my Kids were not in the mood to head home yet, I convinced them to go with me to one of the local gardens. I wanted to see if any flowers where coming up. I was in luck. What better way to brighten up your day!
