There is a roadside grotto (shallow cave in the side of a hill with nooks and shelves to light candles, etc) on my drive to a client that I visit infrequently. I discovered two years ago that visitors were leaving their heart's burdens in the form of a hand written prayer in 5 subject spiral binders put out by the local parish. Last year during a stop there were two binders full of prayers. I love the stories, empathizing with their situations. I suppose a picture with text in it is cheating. I took one picture, skipping the wrenching ones about children addicted to drugs and children in prison to submit this picture only because it has a wonderful, hopeful ending. How many of us think to say "I am grateful" when life is so hard, the writer asks for help to get through "one day at a time"?
