Inside closed down steelworks. Picture taken with X-T2 Fujinon 56mm 1/50 f11 ISO 200
Oh, man, where was that? I would love to get in there and shoot. I love doing "urbex" photography.
Thank you, @rmviewpoint
The photo shows the closed down steelworks at Duisburg (Germany), a veritable eldorado for "urbex" photographers.
Would love to get there some day...can you just walk in?
Yes, you can just walk in and even climb up towers of blast furnaces.
The fam Bernd and Hilla Becher
are great photographers of this kind of art!
Thank you, @rmviewpoint. I consider it an honor that Bernd and Hilla Becher enter your head in connection with my posted photo. I appreciate Bernd and Hilla Becher's outstanding photographic work and now and then I try to take them as an example when shooting architecture or industrial themes. But I would not dare to compare with their work.
I have explore the work of them in my academy day's!
So you are a lucky man!
If I may, I will put up one of mine from Silo City, a set of abandoned grain elevators in Buffalo, NY...
Thank you, Capra. I almost always take B&W when photographing architectural spaces and places as well, but there is so much color and texture at Silo City that I shot quite a bit in color at this site.
