    Hey,

during my first experience with my X-T2 I recognized the following (faulty) behavior today. In the moment of refocussing - after the camera released / took a photo - a white bar appears across the EVF for a very short time. I can't reproduce this behavior every time I'm refocussing. But it happens so often that it bothers me. At home I made a video by filming the EVF and the white bar / flickering. Beside the JPG I'm attaching you can take a look at the video saved as a GIF animation right here:

Did you experience the same behavior? Should I send the camera to Fujifilm?

    Thank you.

Hi Zen, I too am experiencing something odd with my T2, so I'm following this. In my search on google, it seems like there have been reports of flickering of the LCD screen. I haven't seen a comment about the white bar. Hoping someone can help you.

If you just purchased it, I would return it to the place you bought it and have them replace it with a new camera

This is an incorrect camera behavior. If your camera is still under warranty, you should take it to your camera dealer and have your camera exchanged (if you only bought it a couple of days ago) or have it repaired (if it is still under warranty, but you've used it for more than ~10 days - the period depends on local consumer law and/or dealer best practices).

So is this being displayed in the image review? I'm assuming this line doesn't appear in the stored image. I have not experienced this with my X-T2 although I have image review turned off. Regardless, this shouldn't be normal behavior so you should return it for a replacement if you still can.

No. It's not in the final image. Nor on the Back LCD. Only visible in the EVF.

Yes, I experienced this in the viewfinder immediately after taking a photo. It only seemed to occur when I was taking a fairly rapid sequence in single-shot mode when the camera was vertical as I was taking a series for stitching into a panorama.

I found several X-T2 users who experience the same behavior.

Incidentally, I've not yet been able to reproduce the effect.

Short update. I have sent the camera back. Got a new one. Same behavior. Already after the tenth release and the fast following refocussing the white bar flickered across the electronic viewfinder. Sobering.

Just a thought. Have you tried it with the level-indicator switched off? After closely watching mine that seems to flicker sometimes in rapid shooting.

Do you mean the virtual horizon? I never used something like that. The only items that are displayed in my EVF are ISO, shutter time, apeture and battery.

I have this same behaviour. I think it happens in strong backlit scenes. Probably nothing to worry about.
