Also people make the mistake of thinking a sensor and processor is "the same" therefore should produce identical results.  Cameras are still tuned and have different boards and IC configurations and imaging pipelines... this is what I was saying the other day in the video camera thread... certain pipelines optimized for some things or all things can have a final effect.  This is why photo-oriented cameras tend to have a performance edge. Take a look at Photon to Photos results for X100V and XPRO3. They will tend to have higher performance vs. other models using "the same sensor and processor" since those photographic-centric pipelines are [B][I]optimized[/I][/B].

Also XT4 despite having the "same" sensor and processor as XT3 has a very different logic board setup and different color output. It's similar but different. XT4 tends to be magenta-biased.
