I think it has something to do with voltage sent out by the X-T1 cant trick the trigger into telling it to be a transmitter, which is why you have to mod the yn603 or get the 2nd edition that has the mod switch on it. Now with you particular model IDK. I do know the X-T1 is special when it comes to triggers and is very peculiar with what it likes and will work with..
